What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

A relative was approved for disability retirement in the state of Nevada based on her physicians recommendation and documentation. The insurance company started paying disability insurance, however they recently sent her a letter stating they were stopping future payments as her condition (diabetes neuropathy, asthma, severe hypertension, arthritis, 3 shots / day, 10+ medications, etc) does not preclude her from working (her age 61).

Are there any resources or guidance available to deal with this situation? From what I can see, it appears that the insurance company is attempting to string her along and make it as difficult as possible for her to receive her payments. What confuses me is that they initially accepted the claim and made 3 monthly payments.
