I have been a CA Barber/Stylist for over 25 years (I am 54). Most of that time (other than 2 yrs as an employee) I have been an independent contractor. A few years back I had to have surgery on my right hand (fingers) for bone spurs. Afterwards I went back to work for about a year, with a great deal of difficulty. I left the salon I was at and went back to school, but have not been working. I have maintained my license and would like to cut hair again, but don't know if I am able, as I have further hand problems. My question is: do I have a possible disability claim?
