What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MA.
My 4th eye surgery in 7 months for retinal detachment occured Dec. 21, 2009.
My job put me on disability as I was not able to return to work immediately.
My eye surgeon at MA Eye and Ear declared I am able to return to work as of Feb. 8, 2010.
MetLife paid me two weeks past this date and wants their money back.

Today is April 13, 2010 and I will be having cataract surgery May 6, 2010 in the same eye.
I have 20-750 vision in my left eye and 20-1450 in the bad eye.

I have not been back to work since Dec. 21, 2009 the day of the operation.

I am not able to drive on a highway as I have no depth perception and the blurred vision of the right eye makes it difficult to see.

My problem is two-fold.
1) How to get my reluctant doctor to cooperate with my inability to drive to work?
2) How to get MetLife to understand my situation and make payments instead of asking for money back?

Thankyou.
Don't hesitate to ask for clarification.
