What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY
my friend has been on ssd and workmens comp for about 17 yrs now. he still sees several doctors a yr for various problems with his shoulders, legs, angles and back. he has a letter from the court stating that he is 100% disabled from when he got injured on the job. his doctors have to fill out a form each time he visits them, and send their results of his currrent condition to the nys comp board. most of his doctors now say he is only about 30-40% disabled. now the nys comp board is investigating him, and calling him asking questions about his house and who is doing work on it and his yard, and they want to come visit him at his house. he really cant work, but is worried that the nys comp board will find a reason to cut him off. he is 65 yrs old. anything he can do???
