What is the name of your state? Illinois
My question for anyone out there is, I have been living out of the house for a little over six months, I have been paying the Mrs the bulk of my check for bills and child support, my kids are 16 and 18. Now that I have been out for over six months, does that constitute a seperation? or does it mean anything legaly?

No, its doesn't mean anything legally. If you want things to be legal then its time to file for divorce.
