What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

Hi, I don't know if my question was received so I'll repeat it:

My wife, after requesting a divorce, while living with me and my daughter in our home, picked me up from the hospital after I was hospitalized for sepsis (blood infection). I left the hospital with an IV in my arm as I needed 2 additional weeks of antibiotics and was very sick. She dropped me off at the curb of the house after telling me she had moved out. Upon entering the home, I found it to be stripped of all furniture, food, towels, soaps, etc. except for my bed. She had bought a new home and had secretly ( while I was hospitalized) moved everything out including my daughter and dog.

Is this 'abandonment' and if so, how is it compensated?
Thank you.
Bruce
