What is the name of your state? Wisconsin

We're just wondering if someone can file for divorce in US if they have been living here for 6 mos. but don't have a social security number? (entered country legally and is now out of status). Spouse is in another country, have been separated for 6-7 years.

Thank you

Yes, its possible, but I wouldn't attempt to do it without an attorney. Get a consult with a local one.
