Abuse Divorce

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY - NYC

Do I need a signature of the other party if I am going to do the Divorce? and what are the basical steps to perform the divorce?

I left the place where we live together for Abuse and is 3 years from that time until now.

He left his work he had in that time and changed his phone number, besides he use to travel a lot outside of the country, then I do not know where is working or living.

Many thanks for your advise.

You will need to obtain divorce by publication. That's not a DIY thing - particularly since you clearly don't have any idea how to go about the process. Go see an attorney.
