Alienation of Affection

What is the name of your state? NY

Area of law: Family law

My father has been committing adultery in his marriage with my mom for 28
yrs. We recently uncovered that he has eleven pieces of property while my mom and my five brothers and sisters live in a two bedroom apartment. I wanted to find out the legalties of alientation of affection suits as one of the women he has a child with worked at his job as a secretary and the scandal was covered up by his job and by her. She was a friend of our family and she clearly knew he was married as did he. In any case can you send me some information about those two issues and as soon as possible. I understand that her best option is to get a divorce, what can be done about the job's cover-up ? Last, does the alienation of affection include NY state? What if one of his mistresses lives in NC? I welcome any and all responses...

Alienation of affection will get your mother nowhere.

How long has your mother known about the other woman and the child?
