Am I really divorced? I want my little girls.

My divorce took place in Hawaii and I'm not really sure what the laws in Hawaii are on separation. My ex-husband and I lived together all the way up until our divorce hearing, during the divorce procedure (from hearing until divorce was finalized), and after the divorce for 4 months. Is there ANY way that our divorce can be considered not legal? Please help me!
