annulement


What is the name of your state? alabama. i was married in alabama 3 weeks ago and have since left my new husband and returned to my home state of texas. can i get this marriage annuled and if so what will it take to do it.

Depends - do you have grounds for an annulment (lack of capacity to marry (either underage or already married and not divorced), fraud, duress, or (depending on the judge) failure to consummate the marriage)?

we were married three weeks and did not comsumate the marriage.

Being married 3 weeks is moot. Failure to consummate the marriage may or may not fly with a judge, and you'd also need to prove it if your husband contests. Frankly, a divorce would be faster and cheaper. Consider it a lesson learned.
