Unhappy

I live in North Carolina. I had been dating my boyfriend for a year. We got married less than two weeks ago. He is Mexican and here illegally. I did not know he was just marrying me for papers. We did not go to Charlotte and file for whatever papers he needed to become a citizen. We did not know we were supposed to go there by April 30th.
needless to say he became very angry when he found out we got married for nothing. I would like to know how do i go about getting this marriage annulled and how much would it cost. i would not have married him if i had known he didn't love me.

You should retain a Family Law Attorney immediately and have him file papers to annull the marriage. You have good grounds to do so since fraud was involved.

The papers he is refering to are based on Section 245(i). The chances of him being able to walk into the office and file those papers are nil. They are far to complicated for many people to process.

Thank you for letting me know what I should do. I will look for a family lawyer on Monday. Thanks again
