I live in North Carolina, and have been "married" legally to a man who I have not seen since we did marry 4 months ago. Finally catching up with him, he has told me he does not want to be married and decided that on our wedding day. I am not looking forward to waiting the year it takes for a formal divorce, and since we share no property and have no children, cant I just file for an annulment. Cant I do this on my own with out a lawyer?
Please help asap
