What is the proper proceedure for obtaining discovery information as to the value of husbands 401k, and IRA accounts prior to an upcoming property trial. The request has been put to the husbands attorney without any response. Wife is currently pro se but is seeking representation. Request was made 8-24 prior to scheduling of trial. Request was made along with her decline to sign the proposed document and request for changes to a proposed Decree of Divorce submitted to her by his attorney. She has made made calls with messages to him that have gone unanswered. The only response from him was notice of scheduling of trial.

How was the "request" made? By official request for production of documents following the discovery rules? By subpoena (though that won't work giving it to the attorney)? Apparently her request was NOT made appropriately. She needs to read the local rules and the rules of civil procedure for the state of Ohio.
