What is the name of your state? CA
My husband found out I was filing a legal seperation and has since started avoiding service. Is there any other way he can be served besides personally?
Also if he took a car from me that he said was mine, can I get it back?

Who is the titled owner of the car? If he, you will need to address that in the property distribution.

Have him served at work. My ex tried to play games saying he didn't live where I knew he did so I put his work address down for our divorce and the PO I had him served with. He didn't like it much but hey... I could play that game too.
