being sued!!

What is the name of your state? Arkansas
I was divorced in 04 and recently found out my ex is going to sue me for a bill.
In the divorce papers it stated he was to relinquish his w-2 forms to me and i was to pay a bill well he never gave his w-2 to me so I never paid the bill and now he is going to sue me for the amount of the bill. Can he do this? I was told by an attorney not to pay the bill unless he did what he was supposed to do about the w-2's, so I didn't but now this is what I get and I can't afford a lawyer and don't have one to speak to without having to pay more money. Please give me some advice ASAP.

Yes, he can sue you for not paying the bill. You can also file contempt against him for not providing you the W2.
