Buying a house during divorce

I'm in CA...having been attempting to negotiate w/her the disposition of family home ever since I moved out in Dec. My Petition and her Response agree that legal separation began in Oct. She and her attny won't negotiate while she continues to make 100% payment on the family home. Trail date set for mid July.

Meanwhile, my company has recently promoted me and transfered me to another city. Employer even provided cash compensation specifically for relocation. I have found a house and want to purchase (no community assets being used to buy!) but have snagged on this interspousal quitclaim I'm told that she needs to sign to relinquish her rights on my new house. She probably won't do it...she and attn have been stalling now for 5mos and I'm sure they won't agree to sign just to make my life harder. However, since my relocation is a REQUIREMENT of my employment...doesn't this fall into "necessity of life" clause? I mean, I need to provide myself with housing and can't wait to relocate until the divorce is final.

Does anyone have any real advice for me????
