Can a prop per party serve a summons to the other party, who does not file a response, be legally divorced when the rest of the legal documents are not served to the correct address?

Petitioner allegedly served had someone serve respondent a summons for dissolution. Respondent then moved out of the country. There was no answer to the summons. All other legal documents were served by mail at an address in another country, including a default. The party served was not the respondent.

Judgment was entered by the court based on the service by mail.

Is the judgment for dissolution legally binding?
