Can he get my personal property?

I purchased a home in VA. 9 months later my boyfriend moved in then we got married. Things didn't work out so he had to leave. We've been separated for 3 months now. If I died next week, will he get my house, car and everything since he's still my husband? We don't have any joint accounts and the deed is in my name alone. Can I get a will done so that I can leave my property to someone else?

You need to see an attorney right away. Since you owned the home before your marriage and have not added his name to the title, you should be able to leave it to whomever you wish.
