TEXAS- i want a divorce after 8 yrs. I have a friend that filled out a divorce petition on the internet(or one that was e-mailed to her.) she filled in the blanks herself and went and filled it paying the $140 fee to the court.
Question: where can I find this petition on the net to fill out?
Question: do i have to have a lawyer to do this? I would like to do as much of the work myself rather than create another bill or lien holder.
Question: OR should I stick it out another 2 years and wait to file for alimony???
