can i get a divorce


Me and wife has come to a point where i can't be with her because i have married her for the wrong reason so i tell her i want a divorce and she says she doesn't want a divorce. does that mean i will have to be married forever or will the court divorce me and her if i go by myself

you can divorce her, it just might take time and money, but you wont be forced to remain married forever.

In Virginia, if you have children, you can be divorced after a 12 month separation. If there are no children, it's six months.

okay so you have to file to be separated for a year but what if she doesn't want to do it can i still get it and does that mean she has to live with me and try to get mid evil on me and things like that for a yearrrrrrrrrrr

You can't live together and be separated. You have to live apart.
