Can she get alimony and counsel fees?

What is the name of your state? New Jersey.

Help my brother's has been going through a nasty custody battle. His ex does not want him to see their 5 year old son and three years ago she moved to Virginia. They got divorced in march 2005 pending counsel fees, visitation and alimony. He was going down there to see the kid and staying out her house but it got old so he filed for visitation. She wants supervised visits and all holidays to be spent at her house in Virginia and visits not to exceed three times a year. He wants one weekend a month and every other holiday. He is representing himself and she had three different lawyers. She is premant disability and is using it to her advantage. He pays $400 month in child support and insurance costs. She also gets $412/month for the kid from the state. His take home is very low and has a hard time making ends meet. She wants him to pay for her lawyer because she has a limited income and it was him that brought on the case. Oh she also just bought a new house and did $10,000 in renovations. She also wants alimony in 13 years when child support is done. She was already denied it once based on his CIS report but she keeps asking. He has filed motion after motion and she keeps getting the court dates adjourned because she does not want to come up here. She also keeps sending the judge these outrageous letters about how strap she is and she has to buy second hand clothes. This has been going on for two years and nothing has been done. She also will not let me see the child or have contact with him. They are suppose to go to court in two weeks.
What are the chances of her getting money out of him or will the judge see through her little acts?
