What is the name of your state? Arizona
My cousin has filed for divorce from her husband. They have two children. She just lost her job and is wanting to move from arizona to colorado to be with her family and to re-establish her career in Colorado. She does not have an attorney (she cant afford one) and she has not had any court date or anything other than filing the initial paperwork. My question is: is it illegal for her to leave the state with the children before the divorce is settled and if it is legal what type of consequences would she face down the road as far as visitation or custody might go. Any advice would be appreciated
thank you
