I'm a Canadian citizen, who stupidly married a US Military guy and moved to the states. I lived there for 9 months before moving back home to Canada, but don't know how to go about getting a divorce. We were married in South Dakota. My ex is saying there is a bunch of stipulations because I'm Canadian, and it will cost over $2000. Is that true?
