change of address after filing for divorceWhat is the name of your state? CA. HI, I filed for divorce about two weeks back and happned to move to a new place just after filing. How do I inform change of address to family court so that furthur notices/notifications be sent tomy new address. Postoffice redirects mailonly for only 60 days.... what is the procedure to inform the change of address to family court. Thanks -SuniWhat is the name of your state? |

| You are supposed to notify the court BEFORE you move. Especially when you have an open case. And you do it by motion. Check your county's website and see if they have a form. If not write up a motion with the caption from your divorce and just state that you are informing the court of your new address and provide a copy of said motion to your STBX.
