Cheating wife wants husband to leave.

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Massachusetts
My friends wife has admitted to him that she no longer loves him and is in love with another man. My friend and his wife have two kids together. The wife wants the husband to move out of their house. The wife is not hiding her relationship with her new boyfriend and seems to want the husband to leave so the boyfriend can eventually move in. The husband is a good father and does not want to do anything that would not be in the best interest of the kids. He obviously needs to talk to an attorney but thinks this would be unaffordable. The wife and boyfriend have apparently been talking and told the husband of a plan in which he could let the boyfriend take over the mortgage payments and the husband could pay for child support. Does the husband have any legal possibility of getting the wife to move out and he have custody of the kids? The wife has never talked to the husband about any serious marital problems and dropped this bombshell on him with no warning. The husband works full time and the wife works part time and she has been there for the kids up until this point. The kids now know she has a boyfriend and the wife is already bringing the boyfriend to their house. What can the husband do legally that might cause him to be able to keep custody of the kids and stay in the house. The wife thinks it is ok for her to be trying to get her kids to bond with the new boyfriend. All this has happened in less than 1 weeks time. The husband still lives in the house but doesn't know what to do. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If he is putting up with this crap he has bigger problems than a divorce.

Tell this 'FRIEND' to grow some balls, file for divorce IMMEDIATELY, then file for a temporary restraining order against the boyfriend and the wife with a temporary injunction disallowing the wife to convert any marital assets. ANd the next time she's out of the house, change the locks and serve her

Then kick her ass to the curb.

RE: Belizebreeze

The husband is playing it calm to keep his kids from being any more stressed than they need to be given the situation. Is there any evidence against the wife that he should be trying to get to help himself legally. He's worried that filing for divorce immediately won't assure him of getting his house and custody of the kids.

Then, to be honest with you, HE'S AN IDIOT.

What kind of damage do you think the kids are being subjected to seeing their mother with another man while still married to their father.

There are no guarantees. Hell, he could be a minister and she could be having sex parties on the pulpit and that STILL would not guarantee him geting either.

HOWEVER, the sooner he acts the better situation he places the children in and that is what the court will eventually look at.

Tell him to speak with the meanest bitch of an attorney now, (yes, female) and start getting the skank out of his and his children's lives.
