Common-law marriage(In NYC)

What is the name of your state? ***New York***

1) Does New York City(or State) have a common-law marriage?

2) And if so, how many years do you have to be living together before the law takes effect?

3) (If yes)Is it considered a "real" marriage? Or are there exceptions and limitations applied to it?

To the best of my knowledge, less than a handful of states still allow for common law--NY not being one of them. Sorry.
