Dating during Divorce in Texas

Hello there. I'm in Dallas, Texas. A very good friend of mine is in the middle of a no-fault divorce, but over the past week its become rather obvious that he's very interested in me, and I've always had a bit of a crush on him. I don't want to mess him up in court, but I would very much like to go out with him. Their divorce will be final October 30th. His soon-to-be-ex is a very vindictive woman. What should I do?
