Disabled husband gets it all

i need to find out about texas laws protecting the disabled. my mother recently found out that my father has been paying prostitutes for the past 6 mths at least. he wants to divorce her and she wants one too except that she is terrified she will be left with nothing because he is disabled. she believes she will even lose their house to him. he is only disabled to the point that he has parkingsons disease. please tell me what if anything my mom can receive if they divorce. half of the pension checks? sell the house and receive half? this is what she is most concerned about. thanks
