What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA
My husband and I filed for divorce one year ago. I am active duty Navy and stationed overseas. Our two children live with him in Georgia and his cooperation levels are low to say the least.
We participated in court ordered mediation last month and after six hours had resolved next to nothing. I just looked up my case online and a temporary hearing has been granted for the end of August.
My question is regarding the discovery phase and is it common to have completed the steps of the discovery phase prior to a temporary hearing? If we have completed the discovery phase should it be faster for us to get a final court date?
Thank you!
