| Disownment What is the name of your state? India
I live in India and my sister who resides in Deep River CT has been a source of continual harassment and torture to my family. This has had severe ramifications to the health of my mother, who is a cardiac patient. My mother and I have prepared 2 legal statements of disownment and no contact. The first is sans reasons, and the second is marginally more specific, highlighting some of the causes (severe and systematic mental torture, etc.).
In the past, my sister has made certain serious and immoral allegations against my late father. This was in fact told to my mother by her husband in front of my sister. Now, they both deny saying it. After a routine abusive and hysterical telephone call from my sister, I raised this issue with her husband. This raised their hackles. I have also been threatened that my entry into the US, which I frequently visit on professional grounds, would be stopped by them. I have forwarded all email correspondences concerning this incident, including libelous accusations made against me to the FBI. Further, my mother has signed a sworn affidavit challenging their statements about my sister's false statements about my father.
Is it legal/libelous to send the FBI the second letter of disownment (the one containing some of the rationales for the disownment)? Finally, my sister had sponsored my mother for a Green Card, which my mother wishes to return. Would it be judicious to send the US Consulate in Bombay the second letter of disownment?
Thanks, and I gratefully welcome any advise concerning this matter. |
