My wife and I have been seperated for two years. I live in Ohio she in North Carolina. I would like to get a dissolution ,for money reasons ( no children or debt are involved but there is paid for property I am willing to leave with her). Do both parties HAVE to appear in court at the final hearing or can she waive her right to appear? If we do have to get a divorce as opposed to the annullment is there an easy inexpensive way since this is so clean cut? Dissolution will run around $700 or more, is there any way to do it cheaper?Lastly, are the do it yourself divorces where you order the papers online, legal?
Thankyou,
Griswold
