What is the name of your state? Florida

My huband was re-reading his divorce papers from his previous marriage (6 years ago) and it states that any property and debt be equally divided. Well since he had 2 children he left the house with the ex-wife and didn't ask for a buy-out (he walked away with only his car loan). In the papers it gives exlusive rights of the house to the wife until the youngest turns 18. What does this mean? Would he be entitled to anything on the house after the kids are 18? If so, what about any refi's she's made to take out money, and was she legally allowed to add her now ex-boyfriend to the deed so she could refi the property again?

thanks
