Divorce Decree in the Philippines

Hello everyone, I need your advise. Im an American Citizen divorced to a Filipina. Can she request or secure the divorce decree on her own, and file for a motion to have this recognized in the Philippines? Or do I need to send this to her and will my presence be required in PH? TIA

Did you mean to say "married to a Filipina" rather than "divorced to a Filipina"?
