| If one party wished to no longer remain married to the other party..for whatever the reason, why would the other party not agree to a divorce? In my state, Florida, the court will grant a divorce unless there is good cause for the other party to object, and that good cause is usually only if the parties display, after considerable mediation, a chance and willingness to make it work. Dissolutions are not denied because one party wants to hold on to the other, against their will. Hire a good paralegal and get divorced...move on with life. Not legal advice...life advice. |
