DivorceWhat is the name of your state? Minneasota I filed for divorce Sept. 29, 2006. After being married for over twenty years, my soon to be ex-husband had another affair and I decided I had enough. Together we have two child that are adults now, I raised two of his children that are from other relationships. Currently I was given custody of our fifteen year old daughter from another affair. However in Feb. 2007 the refree ordered spoual maint. in the amount of $750.00 monthly and $100.00 monthly to help cover family health coverage that was coming out of my bi-weekly pay. In the last year he has on paid $400.00, and our house went into floursure and my daughter and myself had to find a place to live. I had attoneys however after fighting for custody the attoney fees in access of over $20,000 and I can only afford to pay $500.00 monthly while paying other bills and helping our daughter ninteen yr old through college because of the flousure I cannot co-sign for her loans. To say all that I was not getting any help from my ex and tried to hold him in contempt but the referee said he wasn't. Due to hardship I was forced to cancel family medical coverage and now his attorney sending me threatening letters. Please advise |

| I'm confused, too. I read it the same way, but if that's the case, she ought to have collected support from the father and not the step father. |
