divorceI live in De. My wife of 20 years is planning on filing for divorce. She moved out 2 years ago from pour home and kids. I understand she will get half of my retirement and i will hers from the balances that we had at the time she left. My question is this. The equity in the house. Will she get half from the time she files or half from the time when she moved out? I`ve been making all the payments since she left. And at the time she moved out there was very little equity in the house, not that there`s a lot now. Also will she have to incurr half of the debt she left me with that was in both of our names when she left? What about the debt she ran up in her own name since she left? |

| Does anyone know if the bank will allow my wife to sign over the house to me if she chooses to? Both of our names are on the mortgage. |

| If she agrees to have the name taken off the house then yes it can be done.

| Does anyone know how this can be done? With the mortgage co, the state? How about a home equity loan that is on the same house? Does anyone have any expierence or knowledge of this? I`m willing to pay any fees, I just want to keep my house, and get her name off it, so nothing can happen in the future. |
