Divorce or Annulment? What is the name of your state? CA My friend was married 3 wks ago today. She found out today that her husband has been cheating before and after the marriage. She is not sure how she should handle this situation and what her rights are. Does she have grounds for sueing him for divorce? Is CA a no fault state? Can her husband be made to pay for the court fees? She put in $15,000 of her own money into the wedding. Could she sue for that, plus emotional suffering? And she did make copies of the emails that prove he was cheating. If she were to decide whether or not to annul the marriage, could she claim fraud? How long does she have to file for annulment? Thank you |

| She doesn't have fraud but she has adultery. Which is a ground for divorce.
