What is the name of your state? florida

I was wondering if I have a good case for annullment...I married my gay best-friend in Vegas February 2000 at a drive-thru chapel. We were stupid and intoxicated, I actually don't remember much. We then got into a fight 1 week after and stopped speaking with each other until a couple of months ago. He just filed for a divorce in California and I now live in Florida. It's been 3 yrs and he claims that a divorce is the only way to go. I am now engaged to be married with a real relationship and want our marriage to be sacred.

Is divorce the only option I have at this point?

Thanks...

My response:

Yep, that's it. You don't meet the prerequisites for an annulment; therefore, divorce is your only way out.

So much for your future marriage being "sacred" - - whatever that means.
