Divorce case subpeona

I live in CT.

I was subpeoned for a divorce case. The original trial date on the subpeona did not happen. I appeared at the courthouse only to find out that the trial had been postponed. The attorney did not notify me as to the postponment. Now the 60 days are almost up and I have not been contacted with another date. Is it my responsibility to contact this lawyer to find out another date? I would rather not testify as to the fact that I am for the defendant.

Thank you.

Q: Is it my responsibility to contact this lawyer to find out another date?

A: The attorney is unreliable; call the court clerk and get the truth about the next court date. Once served, you are under a continuing obligation to show up until the case is resolved or until you are released by the judge.
