Divorce defendants documents

What is the name of your state? Maryland.
I go before the Judge as a defendant 9/15. My lawyer quit on 8/5 and I filled for my own continuance, granted on 8/26. No lawyers are available. As the defendant, do I need to prepare any LEGAL documents. I have the appreaisal and copies of all the debts of the marriage. Do I just present my case to the Judge or do I have to file some sort of motion and, if so, where do I find the format for that legal document?
