What is the name of your state? California

My divorce was final 12/1/05, the judge ordered my ex's lawyer to write
up the decree. I was Pro Per. At that time, the judge said I should have
the papers in two weeks. When I called the lawyer's office last week,
I was told it would be four to six MORE weeks. I then called the judge's
clerk and was told there is no time frame for turning final divorce papers
over to me. I need these papers, to process my portion of the retirement
fund into my bank account. I need to do this very soon, as I have major
medical bills for a child with Cystic Fibrosis and was left with absolutely
no money from my ex-husband.

What rights do I have to force the lawyer to turn over my papers?
She is very aggressive towards me, since I successfully won at trial
and at the MSC. Please help a frustrated mother, who keeps waiting
for the mailman!

Contact the Family Law Facilitator's office, they can assist you in filing the correct motion to enforce the court's order, also make sure that the date the divorce is made final is correct if not to make it correct Nunc pro Tunc, ask the clerk for a copy of the minute order that may help. Is this his child with CF for which you have medical bills?
