Divorce in Haiti?

North Carolina., I was married in N.C. and I am separating now., according to North Carolina law I should wait 1 year and a day before I can obtain my divorce.

I was told I could divorce in Haiti without having to wait for that year.

Could you tell me if a divorce in Haiti would be valid in North Carolina?

FOREIGN DIVORCES were tried three times (3) within the United States: Twice by one of the highest U.S. Courts; The Supreme Court of Appeals, (Twin Rulings) ROSENSTIEL-V-ROSENSTIEL 16 N.Y. 2nd. 70 & WOOD-V-WOOD 16 n.y. 2nd. 64 (65) and by a ruling by a Illinois State Court; wherefore, ALL FOREIGN DIVORCES WERE UPHELD AS VALID AND BINDING.
