Divorce help!!!!

What is the name of your state?I live in Florida (Central) and I am wanting to go through a Divorce. My Husband is in agreement to this but doesn't want to take action to proceed. I am now living at my parents house with no job, and I have two young kids from him. He pays me some money when he wants and for the amount that he wants. I cannot afford an attorney. Does anyone know of a way I can get FREE Legal Representation in my area?

Yes. Go to a local bar, wearing a very scanty, see-through, blouse with the top 3 buttons unbuttoned. Make sure your cleavage shows, and your breasts heave with every breath. Wear Spandex, too. Then, gussy up to the bar and start asking, "Hi - My name is Bobby-Joe and I'm from the trailer park down the road. Are you a family law attorney? If you are, I'd like to exchange services."

Do a search on the internet for divorce lawyers in your area and start calling them. Some lawers actually do pro bono work. It can't hurt to contact a few, worst that can happen is that they say no. Just keep trying. Good luck

You're not sure of anything.

For all you or I know, this woman is a "skank" and is used to being in bars.

However, my suggestion was far more interesting, provocative, and probably closer to the truth than you know.

Another option, OP, would be to start researching how you can file for the divorce, custody & child support yourself. Is there any way that your parents could help you pay for an attorney, at least to review the paperwork before you file it?

And, your husband isn't legally required to pay any support until such a time as a court tells him he has to.

Legal Aid - that's what they are there for. Despite other advice, a legal aid service may be able to assist you. There are attorneys who do pro bono work, not all of them are sharks.
