After husband filed for divorce, he was in a car accident and is now severely incapacitated. His mother was appointed guardian. The wife was contacted by the guardian and was asked for certain information from her so that the guardian can apply for medicaid. FYI, the guardian herself is very wealthy and cannot apply for medicaid. Are there any repercussions to the wife giving the guardian this information? Are there any repercussions to the wife for her incapacitated husband receiving medicare benefits (whom whe will soon divorce?) Shouldn't the guardian be responsible for this?
