divorce out of state

A friend of mine left his wife almost two years ago, she lives in Georgia and he moved to Wisconsin, although he pays child support and alimony on his own, he hasnt gotten a divorce yet.
Can he file for a divorce in the state of Wisconsin?
Also he made good money as an executive for a major company while they were married in the past but he lost a business and their house and all assetts are gone, she has worked for the past year and he is unemployed, he has averaged giving her about $900.00 a month since he left her, will she be granted more alimony? after paying for two years?and how do they figure child support on someone who is unemployed and will probebly never make the money that she was used to again because of his health and age etc.. He is 47. Their son is 12
