in texas, how long do does a spouse have to wait on the other spouse to sign the divorce papers? is five years of seperation long enough? how much longer should it take?

My guess is it could go on forever if neither side do anything about it! Try looking on these, or better still, ask your lawyer.

You send the papers and then wait 3 months. If no response then retain an attorney and proceed without them.
