What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

STBXH moved back to his parents (an hour away) so I mailed the divorce paperwork by certified mail and just got it back today, signed by his father. Do I consider STBXH filed if that is his mailing address?

Thanks all :)

I am pretty sure that counts as him being served.
