divorce and remarriage in another state

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I live in kansas and Will (hopefully) be getting the divoce final this Friday, can I go to oklahoma and get married before the 30 day wait in Kansas??

Your divorce must be final. However, you may not get married for a period of six months after the divorce decree is filed. Having the divorce decree with you is a good idea.

Not to mention that if OP is in such a rush to get married before the ink is even dry on his/her divorce decree, he/she should start saving money to pay for divorce #2.
