divorce: rights? who has to pay? wht can i take?

i live in georgia. my husband decided on getting a divorce. the house was in his mothers name so that meant i had to move. i feel that this is unfair. he left me stranded and abonded. we have no children. he has not had a job in 3 months (2 months of which we lived together while i worked). therefore, he says he cant pay for a divorce. i do not have the money either. can i get a free divorce? can i make him give me money to help me live on? can i make him pay for the divorce. also, can i go into the house and take the things that we got after the marriage since he made off with a much larger proportion?
